First time I have had my lashes done with Katie. (I’ve had my lashes done at Jesmond beauty clinic for about 9 years now, and I have to have my lashes on all the time!)
Katie was so professional and gentle - I pretty much wasn’t even aware she was working on them! The end result was fantastic, I am so pleased. Thank you.

After 30-odd years of wearing contact lenses, I can finally see near and far 👁️👁️ and I'm feeling quite evangelical about it. I'm so glad I had this done, and MY Eye Clinic were definitely the right choice - they have been excellent.

I finally took the plunge and had lens replacement surgery (eyes were too bad for laser). Second eye was done yesterday and the improvement (with both done) has been phenomenal. I am so grateful for the wonders of science, technology and medicine.

It was painless, no injections, no nasty smells, I didn't see anything being "done" and I was fully awake during my procedure.

The care I received throughout (before, during and after) has been absolutely brilliant.
If you're considering it, I'd say - do it! And do it with MY Eye Clinic - you won't be disappointed.

FAQs

While Obagi Blue Peel Radiance is technically designed as a gentler at-home peel, we strongly recommend having it applied professionally, especially for your first treatment, to ensure safe, optimal results and proper technique. At MARBL, you can book professional Obagi Blue Peel Radiance treatments through our website at getmarbl.com, where qualified practitioners will apply the peel safely and provide appropriate pre- and post-treatment care guidance. Professional application ensures the peel is applied evenly and correctly, allows assessment of your skin's response in real-time, provides immediate professional intervention if any adverse reactions occur, includes proper pre-treatment preparation of your skin, and offers comprehensive aftercare instructions tailored to your skin. If you have the product at home and choose to use it yourself, the general application involves cleansing and thoroughly drying your face, applying the peel solution evenly to the entire face avoiding the eye area, leaving it on for the recommended time (typically 1-3 minutes initially), and rinsing thoroughly with cool water followed by applying appropriate post-peel products. However, at-home application carries risks including uneven application leading to patchy results; improper timing causing over-exfoliation or inadequate effect; difficulty assessing your skin's response objectively; potential for chemical burns if left on too long or applied incorrectly; and lack of professional guidance for managing any complications. Chemical peels, even gentler formulations, should ideally be performed or supervised by trained professionals who can assess your skin type and condition, determine appropriate timing and frequency, monitor for adverse reactions, and provide proper aftercare guidance. For the safest, most effective results, visit getmarbl.com to book a professional Obagi Blue Peel Radiance treatment at one of our vetted clinics across the UK, where experienced practitioners can ensure optimal outcomes.

Prices vary between clinics and practitioners in Newcastle upon Tyne. In Newcastle upon Tyne, the price of Obagi Blue Peel Radiance typically ranges from around £350 to £450, influenced by the treatment area, the number of sessions advised and the practitioner’s experience. How much Obagi Blue Peel Radiance in Newcastle upon Tyne costs may also reflect clinic reputation, whether it’s part of a combined treatment plan and any included aftercare, so the price of Obagi Blue Peel Radiance can vary between providers. You can find the exact, up-to-date price for this treatment in the catalogue

We strongly recommend having Obagi Blue Peel Radiance applied by qualified professionals rather than attempting at-home application, even though it is marketed as a gentler at-home peel option. At MARBL, you can easily book professional Obagi Blue Peel Radiance treatments at getmarbl.com, where trained practitioners will apply the peel safely with proper technique and provide comprehensive care. Professional application offers significant advantages including proper skin preparation and cleansing before the peel; even, controlled application ensuring consistent results; real-time monitoring of your skin's response; appropriate timing based on your individual skin reaction; safe, thorough removal at the right moment; and immediate post-treatment care and soothing products. If you have obtained the product for home use, the basic application process involves thoroughly cleansing your face and ensuring it is completely dry, as any moisture can affect penetration; applying a thin, even layer of the peel solution across the treatment area, avoiding the eye area, lips and nostrils; starting with shorter application times (1-2 minutes) initially to assess tolerance; monitoring for excessive stinging, burning or whitening; rinsing thoroughly with cool water when the recommended time is reached; and applying gentle, hydrating post-peel products. However, at-home application presents several risks: difficulty achieving even coverage leading to inconsistent results; inability to objectively assess your skin's response; risk of over-application or leaving on too long causing excessive irritation or burns; lack of professional intervention if adverse reactions occur; and potential for improper aftercare leading to complications. Chemical peels of any strength require understanding of skin assessment, proper application technique, recognizing concerning reactions, and appropriate management of the healing process. Even 'gentle' or 'at-home' chemical peels can cause significant problems if used incorrectly. For your safety and optimal results, we recommend booking a professional Obagi Blue Peel Radiance treatment through MARBL at getmarbl.com, where you can browse our network of qualified clinics, read reviews, and schedule appointments at convenient locations. Professional application ensures you receive the full benefits of the treatment while minimizing risks and receiving expert guidance for maintaining results.

Obagi Blue Peel Radiance is a professional-grade chemical peel containing salicylic acid as its primary active ingredient, designed to provide gentle exfoliation and skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime. It is part of the Obagi line of chemical peels but should not be confused with the original Obagi Blue Peel, which is a stronger, medium-depth TCA peel that must be performed in-office. Blue Peel Radiance is a gentler formulation that can be used at home or applied professionally. The peel contains salicylic acid (a beta hydroxy acid) that penetrates pores and exfoliates; additional ingredients supporting exfoliation and skin conditioning; and a formulation designed for controlled, predictable results. The treatment works by penetrating into pores to dissolve oil and debris; exfoliating the outer layer of dead skin cells; reducing inflammation and redness; improving skin texture and tone; and stimulating cell turnover for fresher skin. Obagi Blue Peel Radiance can address multiple skin concerns including dull, uneven skin tone; rough texture and fine lines; mild acne and clogged pores; enlarged pores; sun damage and early signs of ageing; and overall skin rejuvenation. The peel is suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin that cannot tolerate stronger peels; can be used on the face, neck, chest and hands; typically requires a series of treatments for optimal results; and provides gradual improvement with minimal visible peeling in most cases. Unlike the original Blue Peel which causes significant visible peeling and requires professional application, Blue Peel Radiance usually produces minimal to no visible flaking, though skin may feel slightly dry or tight for a few days. The treatment is marketed as offering professional results with at-home convenience, though professional application is recommended for safety and optimal outcomes, particularly for first-time users. While gentler than many professional peels, Blue Peel Radiance still requires proper use, appropriate skincare before and after, and sun protection following treatment.

No, Obagi Blue Peel and Obagi Blue Peel Radiance are two distinctly different products with significant differences in strength, application and results. Understanding these differences is crucial for safety and appropriate expectations. The original Obagi Blue Peel is a medium-depth chemical peel using trichloroacetic acid (TCA) at concentrations of 15% to 30% mixed with a blue base that allows practitioners to monitor application depth; must be performed exclusively in-office by trained medical professionals; causes significant visible peeling lasting 5-10 days; provides dramatic improvement in skin texture, pigmentation and signs of ageing; requires substantial downtime and recovery; and carries higher risks requiring professional monitoring. In contrast, Obagi Blue Peel Radiance is a superficial chemical peel using salicylic acid as the primary active ingredient; is designed for at-home use or professional application as a gentler treatment option; causes minimal to no visible peeling with most people experiencing only slight dryness; provides gradual, subtle improvement with multiple treatments; requires minimal downtime allowing immediate return to activities; and has a gentler safety profile suitable for self-application when used correctly. Key differences include depth of penetration, with Blue Peel reaching medium-depth dermis while Radiance works superficially; results intensity, with Blue Peel providing more dramatic improvement and Radiance offering gradual refinement; recovery time, with Blue Peel requiring significant downtime versus minimal with Radiance; application requirements, with Blue Peel mandating professional application and Radiance allowing home use; and risk profile, with Blue Peel carrying higher risks requiring medical supervision. The naming similarity can cause confusion, but these are fundamentally different treatments for different purposes. The original Blue Peel is appropriate for significant sun damage, deeper wrinkles, pronounced pigmentation or when dramatic results are desired, while Blue Peel Radiance suits mild skin concerns, regular maintenance, sensitive skin, or those wanting gradual improvement without downtime. Neither product should be purchased or used without proper understanding of its strength and appropriate application. If you are considering an Obagi peel treatment, consult with a qualified practitioner who can assess your skin and recommend whether the stronger original Blue Peel or the gentler Blue Peel Radiance is appropriate for your concerns and goals.

Before Obagi Blue Peel Radiance treatment, people typically have dull, lacklustre skin lacking radiance; uneven skin tone with minor discolouration; rough texture and slightly enlarged pores; fine lines and early signs of ageing; mild acne or occasional breakouts with clogged pores; sun damage showing as minor spots or unevenness; or generally tired-looking skin needing refreshing. These concerns are usually mild to moderate rather than severe, as Blue Peel Radiance is a gentler treatment appropriate for superficial skin issues. After Obagi Blue Peel Radiance treatment, typically following a series of 4-6 applications spaced 2-4 weeks apart (whether done professionally or at home), most people experience gradual, subtle improvements. Common results include brighter, more radiant complexion with improved glow; smoother, more refined skin texture; more even skin tone with reduced minor discolouration; reduced appearance of fine lines; smaller-appearing pores and clearer skin; improved skin clarity with fewer breakouts; and overall healthier, more youthful-looking skin. The degree of improvement is generally subtle to moderate rather than dramatic, as this is a gentle, superficial peel designed for gradual enhancement rather than aggressive resurfacing. Results depend on the severity of initial concerns, with mild issues showing better improvement than more advanced problems; the number of treatments completed, with cumulative benefits building over a series; consistency of treatment and proper skincare routine between sessions; adherence to sun protection, which is critical for optimal results; and realistic expectations about gradual refinement rather than transformation. During the treatment process, appearance changes develop progressively: immediately after application, skin may be slightly pink or flushed; within 1-3 days, mild dryness or tightness may occur; most people experience minimal to no visible peeling, though some light flaking is possible; and gradual improvement in skin quality becomes noticeable over weeks. Unlike more aggressive peels that cause dramatic visible peeling and obvious before/after changes, Blue Peel Radiance provides subtle, natural-looking improvement that accumulates over multiple treatments. The results are refinement and enhancement of your existing skin rather than dramatic transformation. For optimal and safest results, particularly if you are new to chemical peels, consider having Obagi Blue Peel Radiance applied professionally. At MARBL, you can book treatments at getmarbl.com with qualified practitioners who will ensure proper application, provide appropriate pre- and post-treatment care, and help you achieve the best possible results. Professional application is particularly valuable for determining appropriate timing, ensuring even coverage, monitoring your skin's response, and providing expert guidance for your specific skin type and concerns. Most people are satisfied with Obagi Blue Peel Radiance results when they understand it provides gentle, gradual improvement rather than dramatic change, and when it is used as part of a comprehensive skincare approach including quality daily products and sun protection. The treatment works well for maintaining skin health, addressing mild concerns, and providing regular refreshing exfoliation without the downtime of stronger peels.
