WHAT IS VEIN REMOVAL?
Vein removal treats visible spider veins and broken capillaries using laser therapy or sclerotherapy (injection treatment). Lasers target the haemoglobin in blood vessels, causing them to collapse and fade. Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution that irritates the vein walls, causing them to seal shut. Both methods result in clearer, more even-toned skin.

What to Expect
For laser treatment, concentrated light energy heats and destroys the vein, which is then absorbed by the body. For sclerotherapy, a solution is injected directly into the vein, causing it to collapse and fade over time. Multiple sessions may be needed for complete clearance depending on the size and number of veins.

Pre-Care & Aftercare
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 2 weeks
- Stop using retinoids or exfoliants for 3–5 days
- Arrive with clean skin free of makeup or lotions
- Wear comfortable clothing (loose pants if treating legs)
AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Mild redness or bruising is normal and fades within days
- Avoid sun exposure and wear SPF on treated areas
- For leg veins avoid hot baths and wear compression stockings as directed
- Skip exercise for 24–48 hours if treating legs
- Veins will gradually fade and disappear over 2–8 weeks
- Multiple sessions may be needed for complete clearance
