Pre-Care & Aftercare
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Avoid active acne treatments like retinoids or acids for 3–5 days
- Stay out of the sun and avoid tanning for at least 2 weeks
- Arrive with clean skin free of makeup and skincare products
- Let your practitioner know if you have a history of cold sores
AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Keep skin clean and moisturised with gentle products
- Avoid sun exposure and wear SPF 30+ daily
- Do not pick or scratch treated areas
- Avoid makeup and active skincare for 24–48 hours
- Skip exercise saunas or hot showers for 24–48 hours
