About

WHAT IS LASER RESURFACING?

Laser resurfacing uses focused laser energy to remove damaged outer layers of skin and stimulate collagen production in deeper layers. Treatments range from gentle non-ablative lasers (minimal downtime) to more intensive ablative lasers (more dramatic results with longer recovery). It's highly effective for wrinkles, scarring, sun damage, and uneven texture.

IT CAN BE USED TO:

  • Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
  • Improve acne or surgical scars
  • Treat sun damage and age spots
  • Even out skin tone and texture
  • Tighten mild skin laxity
  • Reduce enlarged pores

Process

What to Expect

A qualified practitioner uses a laser device to deliver precise energy to the skin. Ablative lasers vaporise damaged tissue layer by layer, while non-ablative lasers heat underlying tissue without removing the surface. Both methods trigger the body's healing response, stimulating new collagen formation and revealing smoother, rejuvenated skin.
