After significant weight loss over several years, I became self-conscious about the lack of volume in my gluteal area and did not have sufficient body fat for a traditional BBL. In an effort to improve these concerns, I underwent multiple surgeries—including abdominoplasty, thigh lift, bilateral Pitanguay excision, posterior body lift, and buttock implants. Unfortunately, the implants contributed to hip dips and visible outlines, and my limited adipose tissue made further solutions challenging. My journey took me from the United States to Dr. Ducu’s clinic following unsuccessful attempts with liquid BBLs using hyaluronic acid filler, which did not yield lasting results. I also pursued several rounds of Sculptra treatments without satisfactory outcomes.
