Dr Ana • The Skin Clinic

So today I visited Dr Ana’s skin clinic, as I had an appointment at 3.15 pm with practitioner Anastasia, for a consultation and a Wow facial. As I arrived at 3pm I was greeted by Dr Ana. First impression was very pleasant and welcoming. My consultation lasted about 1hour which I think pretty long compared to what I have been told on the phone when I booked in. In that 1 hour Anastasia recommended many treatments to me that I should try that would be really beneficial for me which i appreciated for her, but I did explain her kindly that I would like to stay away from laser treatments if that’s possible and just stick to facials and injectable treatments. That’s where it all the craziness started… she just kept going on and on about laser treatments for at least 45 minutes. Then I said to her again that I wouldn’t want to do that. Her answer was that “I don’t listen” and the only way to treat my skin is Laser… then she said that I should have a peel today instead of the WOW facial …which I agreed to. She took me to the treatment room at 4.15pm. I thought we can finally begin with my treatment.. but unfortunately that wasn’t the case… when I laid down on the treatment bed, there was a laser machine next to me and Anastasia started talking about it to me again, (regardless of what I said to her during consultation about avoiding laser treatments) she said “after my peeling treatment I need to try the laser”!... I said to her that I’m sorry but I would just like to go ahead with my treatment now and skip the “trying of the laser” thank you… she said “no no..I do need to try it otherwise I won’t know what it feels like” Then she picked up a goggle used for eye protection during laser and said to me I need to put that on now as she gonna go a head now and show me how the laser works… then she put the goggles on me and started the laser machine, completely ignoring me requesting her multiple times to not to do it cause I do not wanna know please…ignoring it all, she then started to used the laser on her arm few inches away from my face, keep saying to me very rudely “look look… you need to see nothing happens and you need to overcome your fear” 👀 that’s when I got of the treatment bed and said enough is enough I do not want to go ahead with any treatment in this clinic ever in my life..I went upstairs and explained to Dr Ana what happened and all she said was “will do for you a refund and just let’s forget about it and call it a day”. I’m truly disappointed and disgusted about this experience what I had in this clinic. I have had many treatments in the past at different clinics in Birmingham city centre area but I swear I have never had an experience at any other clinic that I had at this clinic. I arrived at 3pm I left at 4.30 pm with no treatment just disappointed and disgusted. How can you waste someone’s 1 hour 30 minutes and just saying “forget about it and call it a day”? Unbelievable… I understand that you trying to sell your treatments, but turning violent on customers to try treatments forcefully it’s just unacceptable. There’s no words I can find to explain truly what I feel about this experience. I really hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else. It’s terrible

Visited for my first chemical peel with Anastasia, she was friendly and informative about my skin concerns. Heather on the front desk was also very friendly and helpful! Would recommend :)

Had my very first visit today, a consultation followed by a little Botox. I was very anxious when I arrived, but was greeted by Heather, a very professional young lady who instantly put me at my ease. Then I met Dr Ali, a lovely patient man who answered all my questions & listened to my concerns, until we agreed on the best approach for me. Dr Ali carried out my treatment with real expertise. The whole experience was faultless. 10/10

First experience at this clinic today, and it was excellent. The receptionist Heather was very accommodating to me on this incredibly hot day and gave me some cold water (they also have other drinks). Dr Ali was so friendly and he explained everything in such great detail. I felt at ease right away! Thank you for my great experience.

I have had a wonderful morning at Dr Ana this morning; I had a hydrafacial with Kelly, and it was AMAZING. Such a calm and relaxing experience. The hydrafacial was also brilliant. Kelly took her time to understand my skin and concerns - she made me feel welcome and at ease throughout the process. Thank you for a lovely experience!

The clinic staff are really welcoming and friendly! I had some cheek and lip filler a week ago with Dr Ana and I have to say this is 100% the best results I have ever had. Very natural and not at all fake looking. My lips look hydrated, with a nice definition and the comments I have had are lovely ‘ you look well’ and ‘you look fresh’. Over the moon and would highly recommend having treatment with Dr Ana.

Kelly is an absolute superstar and always has my skin feeling great after a facial! I had my first massage with Kelly today and she always knows how to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. Grateful for all the advice I’ve received so far and I’m looking forward to the rest of my journey! Thanks for everything Kelly!❤️

This is my first visit to Doctor Ana, Edgbaston. The receptionist, Heather, is outstanding. She is so incredibly friendly and welcoming. She willingly helped me sort out the technological aspect. It is the most luxurious place for skincare in Birmingham I have regular appointments with the lovely Anastasia who always takes care of me, the treatments have literally transformed my skin. The services are detailed and Anastasia has really helped me understand what to use and how to take care of my skin After treatment, the team offer you a post-treatment beverage and refreshments which is also a nice touch I always look forward to visiting Dr Ana’s Skin Clinic and would recommend it to anyone that wants to invest in their skin Thanks to all of the team
