I needed a dentist so I decided to join Bridge St Dental - they had appointments to offer, so it made the most sense. My first appointment, I will not lie, was a lovely interaction. It seemed that my dentist was understanding, the staff seemed friendly and professional. However, after the next few appointments is where my opinion really started to change and their true colours started to show. I had damaged my 2 front teeth in a fall and also needed 2 fillings. Although the dentist that had attended to me was lovely, the dark haired assistant who appeared to have some type of work done to her face, made me feel truly uncomfortable and appeared to, notably, make fun of my concerns under her breath and laugh. This was truly unprofessional and made me feel anxious. You would think a dental practice should make you feel comfortable, at ease, however, what I felt was the complete opposite and was one of the biggest reasons I decided to leave this practice and not look back. My dentist stated that if I wanted some of my chipped teeth fixed, I would need a ‘private’ dentist, despite NHS stating that they can cover certain dental work if it’s front teeth. I was then told it would cost over £300… I then asked for an opinion of a different NHS dentist, different practice, who quoted me £35. They also stated to me that I required some cleaning and should join a ‘membership plan’ and yet my new, current dentist, mentioned to me that my teeth do not require this much cleaning and a ‘monthly service’ would be a waste of my money. I have truly never felt so nervous attending a dental practice. I cannot even call it an ‘NHS dental practice’ as they seem corrupt and are nothing but money grabbers and unprofessional.

Dr Ahsan was very friendly & put me at ease because I hate going to a dentist. He was very thorough & suggested I come back the following day for a deep clean & some X-rays which I did. Further appointment arranged for 6 months on which is an indication of being satisfied with the dental practice & my treatment.

An absolute joke of a dental practice. My appointment today was just a standard examination for new patients, came in 5 minutes before my appointment was due to begin, no problems at all right? TWO HOURS OF WAITING later the woman I spoke to at reception had the audacity to ask if I had been at reception when entering the building originally (it was her I spoke to ffs) & then put all the blame for the mess-up on a computer system that apparently sometimes doesn’t work properly which is hilarious since quite literally every single other patient managed to be seen to just fine. Unless sitting in a waiting room listening to two receptionists make jokes & comments about the patients that have just left their premises for over two hours is your kinda thing, stay as far away from here as you possibly can.
