Very good for laser hair removal, I moved here from another clinic after some concerns about them being rushed and using low settings and decided to move here and was definitely the right decision, really like how they took their time and used high settings for my facial hair which is the main thing i wanted gone, really nice and friendltly atmosphere, and appreciate the free soft drinks during check-in and checkout, payed a bit more then my last clinic but do think I made the right choice. Highly recommend Stella for laser hair removal.

I contacted Victoria House Clinic as I was diagnosed with PCOS 10 years ago and have suffered with thick dark hair on my face ever since. I was shaving the hair off my face twice a day and it got to the point where I was getting a rash all over my lower face and neck. I spoke to Sally about this and she has been great! I shave 1-2 times a week and the hair is much lighter when it does finally grow back! I would 100% recommend the laser hair removal here. I am transgender and good hair removal is very important to me especially on the face. To say that I am pleased with the result would be an understatement as it's been life changing. Every single person who works in the Laser Clinic has been lovely from reception to the nurses. I have had intimate areas done as well and I was quite embarrassed but the nurse made me feel so comfortable I almost forgot I was half naked after a few minutes 🤣 Discrimination is always a worry for anything like this but they clearly have a lot of transgender patients and I have been informed by the nurses a few times they do pre surgery laser on intimate areas and they seem aware of how laser is affected by hormone therapy which is great. My treatment so far has been fully private and I consider the cost very reasonable especially considering I have needed quite a lot less sessions than people I know who have used a spa. They are always very careful with the safety aspects of laser like the goggles and making sure the laser has the correct settings which is very reassuring. It is painful but I found it to be very manageable. You are able to take a chaperone and take breaks if you want. I would and have recommended them to several people already and the fact they have multiple lasers for different skin types and tattoo removal is wonderful as somewhere that uses some types of lasers can be quite difficult to find in my experience.

As a mtf transgender I have been using The Salisbury Laser Clinic hair removal service to remove my facial hair. I paid for some private sessions back in 2015 and although the service was good, I felt the quality of the treatment varied among the nurses who administered the treatment. Nurses that rushed the treatment would lead to poorer results in my opinion. Fast forward to 2017, I have applied for NHS funding for some more treatments and there's newly trained staff at the clinic. I won't mention them by name but the new staff currently at the clinic administering the laser treatment are fantastic! They are incredibly thorough and a major improvement in the service I received in 2015. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and professional. If you are a mtf transgender and/or looking to remove facial hair for whatever reason I would strongly recommend this clinic. Private sessions are costly but if you can set aside money for at least 8 successive treatments (or apply for NHS funding), I assure you it's worth it! It's tempting to go to spas and beauty clinics which offer these treatments at cheaper prices but please be cautious - your face is irreplaceable! If facial hair removal is important, consider investing in it, it's not worth removing you facial hair only to cover it with burns and scars. This is not something I have experienced myself but some transgender friends of mine that have been to spas and cheaper clinics have. At Salisbury Laser Clinic I feel at ease when I visit and safe in the knowledge that highly trained and experienced staff are overseeing my treatment. I literally cannot thank them enough for their service! Excellent! 5/5
