Don’t go anywhere else, the entire team at GP matters are outstanding! Dr McAlister, and the Practise Nurses who looked after me, Carole and Caroline were all wonderful. Putting me at complete ease through all tests required with warmth and real care. Daniel, who coordinate all requirements from my initial inquiry, through all completed medical reports was supremely effective by every measure. Like the rest of the GP Matters Glasgow team, was also outstandingly helpful, welcoming and an assured professional. That provided essential guidance through the full process. If you need an independent medical assessment for employment or oversea visa’s etc. don’t go anywhere else! You are in great hands with GP matters Glasgow.

Attended the clinic for a thorough medical this week to support work in Saudi. From the moment i arrived (early) every member of staff took time to say hello and have a natter. I instantly felt very comfortable, welcome and at ease. From reception staff to the nurse, Doctors and helpful/personal emails after my visit. Everything was fab! Such a lovely practice and a lovely environment. Thank you

I couldn't recommend GP Matters more. The staff are incredibly welcoming and create a reassuring atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The location is fantastic, and the facilities are spotless, modern, and bright, making for a comfortable experience. Dr. McAlister is exceptional - she takes the time to listen, asks thoughtful questions, and ensures you feel fully informed throughout. Her warm and personable approach, including conversations beyond medical matters, makes the appointment feel truly patient-focused

Why Choose GP Matters in Glasgow?

Dr Carole McAlister is Medical Director at GP Matters, a GMC‑registered doctor (GMC 3275151) with primary medical qualification from the University of Edinburgh and recognised GP credentials (MRCGP, DRCOG). She has undertaken specialist facial aesthetics training, including facial aesthetics and advanced dermal filler certificates, and brings over 15 years’ private practice experience to clinician‑led treatments.

The clinic specialises in medically supervised non‑surgical facial aesthetics: anti‑wrinkle (botulinum toxin) treatments for cosmetic lines, chronic migraine, hyperhidrosis and bruxism, plus advanced dermal filler procedures and facial aesthetic techniques. Treatments are delivered by a doctor, use established products and include post‑treatment review; the practice publishes audited outcomes for migraine management.

Based in Glasgow (serving the city and surrounding areas), GP Matters combines general practice and aesthetic medicine under one roof, emphasising safety, evidence‑based care and personalised treatment plans tailored to natural, long‑term results for patients across the West of Scotland.
