Dr Angela was fantastic when she did my laser genesis. This was my second time visiting Dr Angela for the treatment and she was brilliant, truly an expert in the field and so kind. She took the time to explain the benefits of it and I was keen to avoid any needles just now so this was a great treatment for me. I have had so many compliments about my skin glowing already!

Claire was recommended to me by my beauty therapist at Bamboo Boutique for fillers and Botox treatments and how happy am I that she did.
Claire has a lovely warm and welcoming manner and is very professional and knowledgeable. She listened to what was bothering me and suggested Botox and fillers to different areas of my face and I am so so happy with the results. People are commenting on how well I look ( they don’t know I’ve had the treatments 😊😊).
I’ve now had a follow up appointment when Claire suggested a little more Botox was required around the eye area.
I like that Claire aims to keep the results ‘natural’ and not obvious 😊.
I would highly recommend Claire.

I have been coming to the Stockbridge clinic for around a year and I’m so happy with my progress. Having dull, acne prone skin Shannon has always gave the best advice as well as product recommendations for my at home routine. On my last visit I had a Glow facial and my skin is quite literally glowing .. someone who has always had dull skin it is giving that glass skin affect and I couldn’t be happier. Also the cosy environment with the heated bed really tops it off for me !

Visited the clinic for the Keravive Scalp Treatment. Was a lovely experience from start to finish and the salon was clean and welcoming. I was experiencing some hair loss and an itchy scalp prior to the treatment so thought this treatment would help. Regarding the treatment I thought my scalp was clean when I attended my appointment, but after the treatment I saw the residue that came off my scalp and realise the treatment really does cleanse the scalp! My hair and scalp felt super clean and healthy afterwards. Thank you!

First time customer here, new to the area and have been self grooming since lockdown - so big step for me to find a new salon!!

I booked in for a brow wax and ended up getting them threaded by the most wonderful woman. Great advice to switch treatments and she explained the pros and cons of each to let me decide. I’ll never wax my brows again, threading was brilliant and I’m so happy with the shape! She also showed me how best to highlight and fill in my brows, embarrassingly highlighting that I’ve been doing it wrong all this time but I am SO GRATEFUL ❤️

Also, my hayfever was shocking and she way so patient with my steaming eyes, even recommended a honey and ginger drink which is now part of my daily summer routine!

Honestly a lovely experience all round and the woman who waxed my brows (I’m so sorry I don’t know her name) was one of the nicest humans I’ve met in a long time. Can’t wait to go back for my next treatment.

FAQs

Spider veins, also called thread veins or telangiectasia, are best removed through professional medical treatments including sclerotherapy (injection treatment) for leg spider veins, laser therapy for facial spider veins, and intense pulsed light (IPL) for larger areas. These treatments safely and effectively eliminate visible spider veins that cannot be removed through lifestyle changes or topical treatments. Sclerotherapy for spider veins involves injecting a solution directly into the vein using a very fine needle; the solution irritating the vein wall causing it to collapse and seal shut; blood rerouting through healthier veins; the treated vein fading over weeks to months; and being the gold standard treatment for leg spider veins. Laser treatment for spider veins shows laser energy targeting hemoglobin in blood; heat causing vein walls to collapse; being excellent for facial spider veins; minimal discomfort during treatment; and no needles or injections required. IPL for spider veins demonstrates broad-spectrum light targeting red and purple tones; treating larger areas efficiently; being effective for facial and body spider veins; combining well with other treatments; and providing comprehensive vein clearance. Treatment selection by location includes sclerotherapy being preferred for legs; laser being ideal for face; IPL treating larger body areas; and combination approaches for extensive spider veins. The treatment process involves consultation and vein mapping; selecting appropriate treatment modality; the actual treatment taking 15 to 45 minutes; minimal discomfort during procedure; and immediate return to normal activities with some restrictions. Expected results from spider vein treatment show treated veins fading over 2 to 8 weeks; multiple treatments often being needed for complete clearance; 60% to 80% improvement being typical; new spider veins possibly developing over time; and maintenance treatments addressing new veins. Number of treatments required demonstrates most people needing 2 to 4 sessions for optimal results; spacing treatments 4 to 6 weeks apart; extensive spider veins requiring more sessions; and treatment being cumulative. What spider vein removal cannot do includes not preventing new veins from forming; not addressing underlying venous insufficiency causing varicose veins; not eliminating all veins permanently without maintenance; and genetics and lifestyle continuing to influence vein development. To effectively remove your spider veins, book a consultation on MARBL with a qualified vascular or aesthetic practitioner who can assess your veins, recommend the most appropriate treatment and create a personalized plan to achieve clear, beautiful skin.

Varicose veins require medical treatment and cannot be removed through home remedies, with modern treatments including endovenous laser ablation (EVLA), radiofrequency ablation, foam sclerotherapy, and in some cases surgical removal. These minimally invasive procedures effectively treat varicose veins with faster recovery than traditional surgery. Understanding varicose veins shows they are enlarged, twisted veins usually in legs; resulting from faulty valves causing blood pooling; being more than cosmetic concern; potentially causing pain, swelling and complications; and requiring professional medical assessment. Modern minimally invasive treatments include endovenous laser ablation (EVLA) using laser fiber inserted into vein, heat sealing vein shut, being performed under local anaesthetic, having 95% success rate, and offering quick recovery; radiofrequency ablation working similarly to laser with radiofrequency energy; ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy injecting foam solution into larger veins being effective for moderate varicose veins; and VenaSeal using medical adhesive to seal veins. When traditional surgery is needed shows very large or complicated varicose veins sometimes requiring phlebectomy removing veins through small incisions; severe venous insufficiency; and surgical options having longer recovery but being very effective. The treatment selection process involves vascular assessment with ultrasound; identifying source of venous insufficiency; determining appropriate treatment; considering vein size and location; and individualized treatment planning. What happens during treatment demonstrates modern procedures being done as outpatient; local anaesthetic being used; treatment taking 30 to 90 minutes; walking encouraged immediately after; compression stockings being worn; and return to work within days. Recovery and results show treated veins being absorbed by body over weeks to months; gradual improvement in appearance; relief from symptoms like pain and swelling; excellent cosmetic outcomes; and very high success rates. Lifestyle factors supporting treatment include maintaining healthy weight; regular exercise improving circulation; avoiding prolonged standing or sitting; elevating legs when resting; and wearing compression stockings if recommended. Preventing new varicose veins involves addressing risk factors where possible; maintaining vascular health; regular exercise; weight management; and understanding genetic predisposition. When to seek treatment shows symptomatic varicose veins with pain, swelling or fatigue; skin changes or ulcers; cosmetic concerns affecting quality of life; and worsening varicose veins. What treatment cannot do includes not preventing all future varicose veins; genetics and lifestyle continuing to be factors; some people developing new veins in untreated areas; and maintenance possibly being needed. For effective varicose vein treatment, consult with a vascular specialist who can perform proper assessment, recommend appropriate treatment and provide the medical care necessary for safe, effective varicose vein removal.

Thread veins, also called spider veins or broken capillaries, are best removed through professional treatments including sclerotherapy for body thread veins, laser therapy or IPL for facial thread veins, with these medical treatments being the only effective way to eliminate visible thread veins permanently. Thread vein characteristics show they are small dilated blood vessels near skin surface; appearing as red, purple or blue fine lines; being 1mm or less in diameter; commonly occurring on legs, face and chest; being primarily cosmetic concern; and not causing pain or health problems. Professional removal options for thread veins include sclerotherapy injecting solution into veins; laser therapy using targeted light energy; IPL treating larger areas; and electrocautery for tiny facial veins. Sclerotherapy for body thread veins involves very fine needles injecting sclerosant solution; solution causing vein walls to stick together; vein collapsing and being reabsorbed; treatment taking 15 to 30 minutes; and being highly effective for leg thread veins. Laser treatment for facial thread veins shows laser specifically targeting hemoglobin in vessels; heat causing vein to collapse; being non-invasive with no needles; minimal discomfort during treatment; and excellent for delicate facial areas. Treatment by location demonstrates legs responding best to sclerotherapy; face being ideal for laser or IPL; chest and décolletage treating well with IPL; and treatment being customized for location. The treatment process involves initial consultation and assessment; treatment session taking 15 to 45 minutes; minimal discomfort during procedure; immediate return to activities; and post-treatment care being simple. Expected results and timeline show treated veins fading over 2 to 6 weeks; multiple treatments often needed for complete clearance; 70% to 90% improvement being achievable; final results at 8 to 12 weeks; and maintenance addressing new veins. Number of sessions required demonstrates most people needing 1 to 3 treatments; extensive thread veins requiring more sessions; treatments spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart; and cumulative improvement. Factors affecting thread vein removal success include vein size and color; skin type and tone; number of treatments completed; following aftercare instructions; and individual healing response. Prevention and maintenance involves sun protection preventing facial thread veins; avoiding extreme heat on face; maintaining healthy weight; exercise supporting circulation; and treating new thread veins promptly. What natural remedies cannot do shows topical creams not eliminating thread veins; witch hazel and apple cider vinegar being ineffective; lifestyle changes not removing existing veins; and professional treatment being necessary. To effectively remove your thread veins, book a consultation on MARBL with a qualified practitioner who can assess your veins, recommend the most appropriate treatment for their location and create a plan to achieve clear, beautiful skin free of visible thread veins.

Spider veins on the face cannot be removed naturally through home remedies or lifestyle changes, as they represent permanent dilation of blood vessels that require professional medical treatment with laser therapy or IPL for safe, effective elimination. Understanding the limitations of natural approaches is important for setting realistic expectations. Why facial spider veins cannot be removed naturally relates to them being structural changes in blood vessels; dilation being permanent; topical products not reaching vessel depth; lifestyle changes not reversing existing damage; and professional treatment being necessary for removal. What natural approaches cannot do includes apple cider vinegar, witch hazel and other topical remedies having no effect on blood vessels; facial exercises not eliminating spider veins; dietary changes not removing existing veins; supplements not reversing vascular dilation; and time alone not improving spider veins. What natural methods can help with shows prevention of new spider veins through sun protection with daily SPF 50+; avoiding extreme temperature changes; gentle skincare preventing irritation; not over-exfoliating or being too aggressive; and managing rosacea if present. Lifestyle factors for prevention include avoiding excessive alcohol which dilates vessels; protecting face from extreme cold or heat; being gentle with facial skin; managing stress affecting circulation; and understanding genetic predisposition. The only effective removal methods demonstrate laser therapy targeting hemoglobin in vessels precisely; IPL treating broader areas; electrocautery for very small vessels; and these being performed by qualified practitioners. Why professional treatment is necessary shows facial skin being delicate requiring expertise; improper treatment risking scarring; qualified practitioners understanding facial anatomy; medical-grade equipment being required; and safety being paramount on face. Attempting DIY facial vein removal risks include scarring from improper techniques; worsening appearance; infection; skin damage; and no benefit from ineffective remedies. What you can do while deciding on treatment involves using green-tinted concealers to camouflage; mineral makeup providing coverage; good skincare maintaining skin health; sun protection preventing worsening; and consulting professionals about options. When to seek professional treatment shows spider veins affecting confidence; desire for clear complexion; veins becoming more visible; and understanding natural remedies are ineffective. Setting realistic expectations includes accepting natural remedies cannot remove facial spider veins; professional laser or IPL treatment being necessary; treatment being safe and effective; results being excellent; and investment being worthwhile for clear skin. For effective removal of facial spider veins, book a consultation on MARBL with a qualified aesthetic practitioner who can assess your facial veins and provide safe, effective laser or IPL treatment to achieve the clear, even complexion you desire.

Yes, varicose veins can be effectively removed or eliminated through modern minimally invasive medical treatments that have largely replaced traditional surgical vein stripping, with procedures like endovenous laser ablation, radiofrequency ablation and foam sclerotherapy providing excellent results with minimal downtime and high success rates. Modern varicose vein treatment being highly successful relates to advanced technologies replacing surgery; minimally invasive procedures being performed as outpatient; local anaesthetic being sufficient; rapid recovery; and 90% to 95% success rates. The main treatment options include endovenous laser ablation (EVLA) being most common, using laser energy to seal veins; radiofrequency ablation using radiofrequency energy similarly; ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy injecting foam to collapse veins; VenaSeal using medical adhesive; and surgical removal for complex cases. How modern treatments work shows catheter or needle being inserted into vein; energy or solution causing vein wall to seal; blood rerouting through healthy veins; treated vein being absorbed by body; and gradual disappearance over weeks to months. Who can have varicose veins removed includes people with symptomatic varicose veins causing pain or swelling; those with skin changes or complications; cosmetic concerns affecting quality of life; and most adults being suitable candidates. The treatment process involves initial consultation with vascular specialist; ultrasound assessment of venous system; treatment planning; the procedure taking 30 to 90 minutes; walking immediately after; and return to normal activities quickly. What happens to treated veins shows them being sealed and shut; body naturally absorbing vein tissue; blood flowing through healthier veins; venous function actually improving; and permanent removal of treated veins. Success rates and durability demonstrate EVLA and RFA having 95% success; treated veins not returning; new varicose veins possibly developing elsewhere; excellent long-term outcomes; and most people being satisfied. Recovery and downtime shows minimal recovery compared to surgery; returning to work within days; exercise resuming in 1 to 2 weeks; wearing compression stockings; and few restrictions. The advantages over old surgery include no general anaesthetic needed; minimal scarring; less pain and bruising; faster recovery; lower complication rates; and being done as outpatient. Risks and considerations show procedures being very safe; minor bruising and discomfort; rare complications like DVT; qualified vascular specialists managing risks; and benefits far outweighing risks. When varicose veins cannot be removed relates to certain medical contraindications; pregnancy requiring waiting; severe arterial disease; and these being rare limitations. Cost and insurance considerations show symptomatic varicose veins sometimes being covered; cosmetic treatment typically being private; costs varying by extent; and treatment being worthwhile investment. Most people with varicose veins can have them successfully removed through modern minimally invasive treatments that are safe, effective and provide excellent outcomes with minimal disruption to life.

Before vein removal treatment, people typically have visible spider veins, thread veins or varicose veins affecting their appearance; red, purple or blue networks of veins on legs or face; self-consciousness about wearing shorts, skirts or swimwear; covering affected areas with makeup or clothing; embarrassment about visible veins; potential pain, heaviness or swelling with varicose veins; reduced quality of life; and frustration with inability to eliminate veins through lifestyle changes or creams. After professional vein removal treatment, following completion of recommended sessions (typically 1 to 4 treatments spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart depending on extent and type) and allowing adequate time for treated veins to fade and be absorbed (usually assessed at 8 to 12 weeks after final treatment), most appropriate candidates experience dramatic, confidence-boosting improvements. Common results from spider and thread vein treatment include 70% to 90% reduction in visible veins; significantly clearer skin; even tone without red or purple networks; confidence wearing shorts, skirts and swimwear; freedom from covering veins with makeup; smooth, beautiful legs or clear facial complexion; and restored confidence about appearance. Results from varicose vein treatment show treated veins disappearing completely; legs looking normal and healthy; relief from pain, heaviness and swelling; improved leg appearance; ability to stand comfortably; enhanced mobility; and life-changing improvement in symptoms and appearance. The improvement timeline for spider/thread veins demonstrates treated veins initially darkening slightly; gradual fading over 2 to 8 weeks; continued improvement for several months; final results at 8 to 12 weeks; and new veins being treated with maintenance sessions. For varicose veins, timeline shows immediate relief from symptoms; treated veins fading over 2 to 4 months; gradual absorption by body; optimal appearance at 6 to 12 months; and sustained improvement long-term. Physical transformation includes clear, smooth skin free of visible veins; legs or face looking youthful and healthy; even skin tone; no more purple or red networks; and dramatic aesthetic improvement. Psychological and lifestyle impact shows enhanced self-confidence; wearing desired clothing without self-consciousness; enjoying activities like swimming freely; no more hiding affected areas; improved body image; and better quality of life. The degree of improvement depends on extent and type of veins treated; number of treatments completed; following aftercare instructions including compression; individual healing and absorption; new vein prevention through lifestyle; and realistic expectations. Typical measurable outcomes show spider veins reducing 70% to 90% with complete treatment; thread veins clearing 80% to 95%; varicose veins being completely eliminated; skin appearance dramatically improving; and very high satisfaction rates. Before and after expectations should be realistic: professional treatment provides excellent vein clearance; multiple sessions may be needed for optimal results; treated veins do not return but new ones may develop; maintenance treatments address new veins; lifestyle factors affect new vein formation; and results are dramatic and worthwhile. Factors affecting final results include completing recommended treatment course; wearing compression as directed for varicose veins; avoiding sun exposure during healing for facial veins; maintaining healthy weight; staying active; and following all aftercare protocols. Most satisfied vein removal patients report dramatic improvement in appearance; significant confidence boost; freedom to wear what they want; relief from pain if varicose veins; treatment being life-changing; wishing they had done it sooner; and viewing it as excellent investment. To achieve dramatic improvement in visible veins, book a consultation on MARBL with a qualified vascular or aesthetic practitioner who can assess your specific vein concerns, recommend the most effective treatment approach, and create a personalized plan to eliminate your visible veins and restore beautiful, clear, confident skin.
