Shaun Patel, M.D.

I had an appointment today at 4:30pm at Dr Pathel. I live in Aventura and the Dr. is located at 6307 Red Road. Usually take me more than one hour to get there. I left my place at 2:50 pm and the GPS said that I’ ll get there at 4:17 pm. It is a long drive but I was good with time. When you live in Miami the GPS change arrival time frecuently. That’s what happened today to me.The traffic was terrible and the arrival time was changing along the way. I called the office and spoke with Caroline and explained the situation. She seemed positive and said not a problem. As soon I was on US1 I called again to the office and Hilda picked on the phone and I explained that I was very close by to them but that the traffic was horrible. She said that they can’t wait for me ( even if I drove for more the 2 hours to get there) . I said that it wasn’t my fault but she maintained that they can’t wait for me. Of course I was extremely upset specially when I was so close to them but she kept said calmed down and I can’t do anything for you! I really felt that is not longer humanity among doctors. Not consideration or empathy to clients. After many years of coming here this is what I got. The worst experience ever. Caroline and Hilda were very indifferent and cold. Not only they won’t wait for me but they also they would take my $100 deposit. This is outrageous. Extremely disappointed with the place and with Dr. Pathel. I want my money back and ever again visit this place. DEFINITELY I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Dr. Patel is without a doubt the best dermatologist in Miami. He's the only person I will ever trust with my face, and his depth of knowledge about skin and facial anatomy is evident in both his technique and the results. His work is precise, natural, and consistently exceeds my expectations. The office is clean and welcoming, with appointments that actually run on time - a rarity in this field. His staff is equally professional and attentive. It's clear he has mastered his craft and I'm grateful to have found him 3 years ago and haven't looked back since.

Having had a wide range of experiences with Doctors, I can confidently say that Dr. Patel truly elevates the standard of practice. His expertise, attentiveness, and compassionate approach make all the difference, setting a high benchmark for patient care. I am incredibly grateful to have been a patient of Dr. Patel for many years, and the care I’ve received has always been consistently outstanding. Dr. Patel is not only knowledgeable but also patient, taking the time to explain every procedure in detail, ensuring you fully understand. He creates an environment where you never feel uncomfortable asking questions, no matter how small. Dr. Patel is always staying current with the latest medical procedures, techniques, and best practices through ongoing education. Dr. Patel is truly an educator at heart. In my opinion, there’s no reason to see anyone else. I wholeheartedly recommend him.
