I always have an amazing experience and Mush is just fabulous in every way. He has the magic touch and as well as always giving me a great haircut and colour his massage skills are second to none! I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I’ve been to another place to get my second ear lobe piercing done, they got it wrong 2 times. I went into Pure hair and spa, as recommended by my family member. I’m so glad I did, I finally have symmetrical ear piercing. I am truly happy with the service received and the professionalism. I will definitely be returning for other services.

Mushin is fantastic. Best hair cuts I've ever had, really friendly and I always enjoy going there. My wife also now sees Mushin for her curly cuts too as he does an amazing job. Thanks again 👍

After visiting several salons in search of a lighter colour for my naturally curly hair, I was left feeling discouraged—like my hair was more of a problem than a canvas. I had nearly given up when I discovered PURE, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in for my consultation, the staff were warm, welcoming, & incredibly knowledgeable. For the first time, I felt truly understood and confident that I’d found the right place. Since then, I’ve had 3 appointments (with my 4th already booked!), & each one has been nothing short of fabulous . A special thank you to Abi C for her incredible skill, kind nature, & expert advice—my hair has honestly never looked better. Whether your hair is Afro, naturally curly, wavy, or straight, I can’t recommend PURE highly enough. This is the salon you’ve been looking for!

£77.50 is what a curly cut & finish costs, with an artistic director, & medium length/thickness hair, at this salon. I expected a wash, cut, a blow dry (diffuser) & a salon finish, for wavy/curly hair. I did not expect to be leaving the salon with wet hair. I also did not expect the back of my hair to be in such a state. (See pictures) A week ago i had been messaging this salon, regarding a curly cut with their curl experts. I was offered an appointment for a consultation, with a member of their team going on a similar journey to mine. I arrived at my appointment time, only to find out i hadn't been booked in. I left disappointed and headed back to my car, in their parking area at the rear of the salon. When in my car, a woman tapped her keys on my window for attention. I was using one of her parking spaces, she wanted to know if i was using her salon too. Anyway skip to it, she was the boss (Angela) & she found out her employees, hadn't booked my consultation. In this conversation she said she had seen the message from home. She thought it had been dealt with. She did also say & demonstrate that she can view & book via her phone. Shame she didn't check up on the message she saw 🙄 During this conversation, I had some-what of a consultation with her through the window of my car, in the car park. Professional aye! So a week later its my appointment. Refreshments are lovely & the complimentary massage was much appreciated. The stylist herself is absolutely lovely, & i felt so comfortable with her. She had done a lovely wash, she gave me tips, advice & asked me questions to do with my hair & routine. I was asked if i diffuse my hair. Which i do. I have my reasons & i explained my reasons. My stylist started diffusing my hair. She said she was starting with the ends to seal them. We laughed & joked about how its the boring part, its takes so much time. Which it does. We never once spoke about leaving it to air dry, it wasn't asked if it was suitable to do so. I could have been going out for lunch, or anything after. All of a sudden my appointment was done. She was showing me the back & removing the gown. I asked about the wet sections of my hair & if it would hold the shape. I was assured air drying would be fine. It'll still create a cast ready for scrunching & fluffing. (It didn't) I was lead to the desk for payment, my stylist left her colleague to collect the payment, & she moved onto her next client who was seated & waiting. I was left with wet hair. I didn't opt for it. I thought ok, not what i expected. Trust the process. Maybe it'll be fine when its dry. I'll fluff it, break the cast & hopefully it'll be fine. No that wasn't the case (see pictures) Two and a half-ish hours later, my hairs dry, theres no cast in the areas that were left wet. They've gone limp. They're flat. It's like the back half of my head hadn't attended the salon. So i took pictures. Contacted the salon and sent them the pictures and how i felt. They think its my hair. They think it could be weighed down. They think it needed more product. It takes a long time to dry. Not one apology. Yes, diffusing hair takes a long time. I know. They should know that too. They claim they are curl experts. The time should have been included. I wasn't in a rush. I think the stylist ran out of time & her next client had arrived. I think if she had finished it properly. Scrunched out the cast, separated the curl clumps, & looked at how the curl patterns were behaving, then the "weight" could have been discussed and possibly resolved? I wouldnt have minded any weight being removed. If they had scheduled their clients appropriately, & allowed the correct time, then all this could have been avoided. I would have been a happy client, & this would have been a positive review. They did say i could return for a wash & restyle. Twice i left that salon feeling disappointed. Did i really want to risk it & do it for a third time? Do not recommend for wavy/curly hair. Pictures: In car wet hair. At home dry before & after scrunching
