From the moment I walked into The Grove Skin and Laser Clinic, I instantly felt welcomed — all thanks to Jodie! Her warm and genuine demeanor put me completely at ease straight away. It was clear I was in the hands of someone not only incredibly professional but also deeply passionate and knowledgeable about what she does. After receiving poor advice and spending a fortune on treatments elsewhere, Jodie took the time to explain everything in detail and helped me understand exactly what had gone wrong previously. Her qualifications and expertise are absolutely impeccable, and I finally feel confident that I’m on the right path with my skin. I’m so grateful to have met Jodie — it genuinely felt like I’d made a friend from the moment I stepped through the door. I can’t wait for my upcoming treatment with her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for honest, expert care in a welcoming environment!

I had a consultation at The Grove Skin and Laser Clinic recently. I was hoping to discuss getting lip filler, mainly to round out my Cupid’s bow and add a little volume to my top and bottom lip for a natural but noticeable pout. I came with a really clear idea of what I liked and didn’t like, and brought loads of photos of other people’s results to help explain my vision and what I was going for. Unfortunately, I was told that what I wanted didn’t match their philosophy, which is all about super minimal, wellness-focused results. I was told I wouldn’t be treated and that I was a bit of a red flag, which long term is probably for the best, but I left feeling a bit judged and disappointed. I was also told I’d done too much research, which was a shame because I was just trying to be cautious and make sure we were on the same page, especially when it’s something going into my face with a needle. Jodie was honest and stood by her principles, and I do respect that. It’s better to be upfront than go ahead with something that doesn’t sit right. But I didn’t feel like there was room for much discussion or that my preferences were taken seriously. Also just to note, I paid £50 upfront for what was advertised as a 30-minute consultation, but I was in there for maybe 15 to 20 minutes max. I booked knowing this and I didn’t question it at the time, but looking back I do feel a bit overcharged. This clinic might be perfect for people who want super subtle tweaks and to just leave it in the hands of the practitioner. But if you’ve got a strong vision or want more of a collaborative process, it might not be the one.

I had a gift voucher as a present for the Grove, living in Cardiff I was thinking I hope this is worth travelling to! I wasn’t disappointed. I was greeted by friendly staff and offered a drink on arrival. I had a hydro facial and wow the gunk that came out was amazing. I’ve been back for a second treatment and people are noticing my skin difference. I have booked again - it’s an hour drive for me but I have a walk along the beach and a coffee and make an afternoon of it. Highly recommended!!

I nervously booked in to have an unsightly mole removed from a very sensitive area above my eye. I needn't have worried. The consultation was very relaxed, easy to understand and informative. When the results came back clear, the process with Jodie was quick, pain-free and now, a month later I have barely any scar! Brilliant service. Thanks all!

I've been attending this clinic for nearly a year now and have seen tremendous results. Incredibly professional, clean environment. All the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Chantelle especially who does all my treatments is an absolute delight to deal with. Highly recommend to anyone who considers going.
