I purchased a 3 pack of microneedling and used one session, then had holidays booked over the summer and the aesthetician advised that I wait until after the summer to complete the course due to the sun exposure. I became pregnant during my holidays and my pack was due to expire during my pregnancy, however microneedling is not approved during pregnancy and the clinic rightfully does not perform it on pregnant clients. I asked for either an extension so I would be able to use the remaining treatments post-recovery, or to apply the funds to a different, pregnancy-safe treatment. My request was taken to upper management, who denied the request. The only option offered was a short extension which means my treatment credit will now expire 3 weeks after my due date, so I would be expected to come in for 2 separate microneedling sessions within 3 weeks postpartum. Once again, this was a decision that was escalated to upper management and made by them. I hate to post a negative review about a small business but I did contact them directly first asking for accommodations to be made. Extremely disappointing to experience the lack of accommodation for a pregnant client and unfortunately I think says a lot about how this business is run. Be forewarned about buying treatment packs if you could become pregnant during their validity dates.

I wanted to try some facial treatments so went for a consultation and paid £50 deposit which I told was redeemable towards a treatment. I had a pink mark on my cheek and they said it’s not healed so they suggested me to follow some basic skin care routine and come back in a month because they can’t treat me if my skin hasn’t healed. Throughout, they were friendly and polite, offered me tea too. When I came back for a follow up, they said it’s still not healed so they refused to treat me and refused to let me use the £50 towards a future treatment once the pink mark is gone. They said that went towards the consultation and no clinic gives free consultation. I went to a dermatology clinic instead and had a much better experience. They said this is just an acne scar and it has healed. They gave me free basic skin care advice before I committed to anything. They then offered me a treatment plan to fade the pink mark completely and induce more collagen production. They also gave me sample skin care products for free. House of Saab contacted me again encouraging to book another treatment with them so I gave them this feedback privately by email and my view that the fair thing to do here would be to let me use the £50 towards a future treatment once I get a dermatologist to resolve the pink mark because they aren’t insured to treat this. They never replied. I wish I had never visited them given the services I received. Update: after a month, they responded to this review here publicly. In their response, they said the £50 is towards their "time and expertise", "including multiple visits, skincare advice and professional referrals". The kind thing to do would be to be honest up front rather than asking me to come back for another visit which was not helpful. My appointment was also cancelled without my knowledge requiring further re-scheduling. The "skin care advice" I got was simply to go to boots and buy a certain moisturiser & face wash while other clinic gave me better skin care advice that actually helped with my problem for free including free samples to try first. They did not make any professional referrals. I sought out a dermatologist by myself. At time of booking, I was told the £50 deposit is redeemable towards future treatments and there is no deadline to redeem. This is misleading because I have not only lost £50 but also wasted my time seeing unqualified therapists for my case. They also made medically ill informed assessment regarding what the pink mark actually was.
