Fantastic service. Called to make a booking on the Friday, went in the next day for the procedure, consultation and cyst removal. The staff were great, friendly and clearly explained the process to me. Answered any questions I had and had a very calm, knowledgeable approach to the whole experience. Pricewise, I’ve struggled to find better. Very pleased, and would recommend. If you’re looking at getting anything removed for cosmetic reasons, this is the place to go

Had a fantastic experience with my cyst removal at Canova Medical. Had a large cyst that would inflame and cause me bother, got it seen and treated within the hour. The Plastic Surgeon was incredible, the receptionist was so lovely and now a month after the procedure there is literally no scarring. Considering the size of the cyst I am absolutely blown away. Cannot fault this service at all. Would recommend.

Visited this place around April time, was looking to remove a very minor raised birthmark that was bothering me, arrived at the clinic and must’ve waited 40 minutes after the dedicated time slot that was chosen. I was finally seen in what seemed like a very rushed consultation, I explained what I had come for and the surgeon left the room and came back 5 minutes later asking for 1000 pounds or a 95 pound fee if I wasn’t going ahead, I obviously hesitated at the price and we later agreed on 800. I was quickly rushed to a room to where the top layer of my skin was shaved off, I hadn’t really been told much about the procedure but was just willing to go ahead at this point I had been waiting over an hour. The procedure took roughly 10 minutes, I was left with a gaping would from where the marks had been shaved off and given little instruction on how these will heal and the aftermath of what to expect, no check ups, no aftercare, that was it. I completely regret the procedure as I’ve been left with a huge red scar that looks 100x worse than original I am now having to go through laser surgery to heal after around 5 months these scars were not healing one bit! I’m extremely disappointed and feel taken advantage of as this was a big insecurity of mine now made worse and even more expensive!!!

A lovely clean clinic, with polite and respectable staff who made the whole experience feel comfortable. The cyst removal was smooth, with re assurance from the surgeon. Aftercare was explained and I left feeling positive. Thankyou

Price should never be the only consideration for products and services, but what caught my eye with this practice was the extremely reasonable prices for the procedure I required. I booked using the online system and a representative called me back within minutes (very efficient). I was disappointed to then be informed that the prices on the web page for the desired procedure were not as advertised but, in some case, double the price! I was told they were updating pricing online. I continued with my appointment, and was greeted by lovely staff, premises clean, smell was amazing etc, all very plush and comfortable. Consultation was amazing and I was put at ease immediately. I was then quoted for my procedures, and it was again more expensive that I was advised on the phone, i.e. 3 price differences! There was no pressure to go ahead with the procedure and the prices were explained in full. Let me be clear, I proceeded with the treatment that day because although it was disappointing to have 3 different prices, it was still significantly cheaper that any other private clinic by huge margins. I really enjoyed the specialist conversations, nothing was too much trouble, and I was spoken to at every step of the procedures. Absolutely amazing service, price, people and aftercare, possibly the best service I have had from the private sector, Only one recommendation, please be transparent with your prices, even if they are incredible in comparison to others, honesty and transparency are imperative.

I had a mole removed recently and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in. The whole procedure was quick, painless, and professionally handled. I felt completely at ease throughout. Highly recommend their services!

Had a great experience from the beginning to the end, the receptionist was kind and polite and was helpful with questions I had about the procedure I was having, the surgeon also made me feel comfortable during my consultation as this was the first time I had visited Canova medical or any form surgery for a this procedure. I must also add I was impressed with how tidy and clean the rooms were from the reception area to the consultation rooms. All in all I really did have a great experience and would recommend it to a friend if they ever needed any surgical treatment.

CLINIC FROM HELL AVOID😡😡 I was looking for a dermatology clinic online when I came across Canova Medical, which is about a 40-minute drive from where I live, not far from Manchester. I suspected I had alopecia, so I called them to book an appointment. They scheduled me in and informed me that the consultation would cost £95, with my appointment set for three weeks later. On the day of my appointment, I was originally booked for 5 p.m. However, Canova Medical called me and asked if I could come at 4 p.m. I told them I couldn’t, so they suggested 4:30 p.m. instead, which I agreed to. When I arrived at the clinic, I checked in at reception and waited for 40 minutes. Eventually, the receptionist came over, apologized, and explained that the surgeon was still in the theatre. I was quite shocked because I had come to see a dermatologist, not a surgeon, but I didn’t think much of it at the time. A few minutes later, the receptionist returned and apologized again, saying they would waive the consultation fee as compensation for the delay. I accepted this, though I was still frustrated by the wait. An hour later, the surgeon finally came out and greeted me, apologizing for being late. He asked how he could help, and I explained that I was experiencing bald patches and wanted to see a dermatologist. I showed him some pictures and asked if I could remove my wig to show him my scalp, but he said it wasn’t necessary. The consultation was extremely brief—he simply told me that I would need steroid injections but that he wasn’t a dermatologist, so I would need to see one instead. Then, he left the room to speak with the receptionist. When the receptionist returned, he told me that the dermatologist wasn’t available but that they could arrange a video consultation instead. I was completely shocked. Why had they booked me in for an in-person appointment knowing the dermatologist wouldn’t be there? Why had they even called me earlier that day to change my appointment time when they knew the dermatologist was unavailable? The receptionist apologized and reiterated that only the dermatologist could administer steroid injections, but I was beyond frustrated. I had driven 40 minutes to the clinic, only to be kept waiting for an hour and then told I couldn’t receive the treatment I needed. The whole experience was completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, when I mentioned that someone had called me earlier to reschedule my appointment, they had no record of it. This clinic is clearly disorganized and unsafe for any procedure. A few minutes after I left, I received a call from someone at the clinic asking me not to post a negative review. They even offered to arrange treatment with a friend of theirs, a dermatologist, for free—which I declined. The caller then claimed the dermatologist had been off sick that day. But if that was the case, why hadn’t they informed me earlier? Why let me drive all the way there and still make me wait an hour? The whole experience was absolutely disgraceful. This clinic has no regard for patients’ time or needs, and I would not recommend it to anyone. SAVE Your money go elsewhere. DON’T be fooled by those 5 stars reviews most of them are FAKES!!!!!!
