I think during Covid, you could get much better doctor appointments for patients, but now you either make an appointment for another month, or you text and cancel. For day appointments, it is recommended to call 111 or visit the walking center (Wishing better care for local patients

Couldn’t call during week due to work. Currently on my third attempted call for Saturday appointments. After 30 mins the line goes dead. When I call up again, I’m further back in the queue. There definitely isn’t anyone in the practice as the queue doesn’t reduce whilst on call for all those 30 mins.

Maybe it's me but before COVID you were able to ring and someone would actually answer the phone. Phone lines open at 8am I start work at 8.30 finish at 4.30 with 30 minutes for lunch. So ring at 8am 15th in the queue go into work 08.25 12th in the queue have to hang up. Don't have time at lunchtime ring after 4.30 no appointments ring tomorrow TRY to explain that I've been trying for weeks to get an appointment ring tomorrow. I'm being penalised for working as I don't have time to sit around waiting for someone to answer the phone. My husband who has recently had a bad ear infection and has again tried every other day has even called in 8am for an appointment to no avail. When he has tried to explain about his ear receptionist saying no appointments available ( you say they don't make decisions yet they are deeming my husband not urgent enough! Can't eat infections spread to brain? ) This situation seems to be either poor management, lack of work ethic or poor practice. I've been with this surgery for majority of my life and I don't often attend but the time I feel I need to im unable to get an appointment. I don't want a phone call how can a DR pick up on anything or ask the right questions if unable to physically see you. The system is broken. Yet ring the Croft and they answer the phone appear to have genuine empathy with the situation, I'm now getting to the point of submitting an official complaint. Just answer the PHONE!!!!!!

The reception staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Have just rung this morning. Got through at 8.00 this morning and there were 13patientscin front of me. By 8.20 I was speaking to a receptionist which was really quick. I would be triaged and phoned back to speak to or see a Dr. Excellent service and always receive that. Joined the practice in June last year and it was a good choice. Thanks to all and the Drs and well

Tina your HCA was brilliant. Took bloods without even feeling a scratch. Best I've encountered in Leeds to date (lived here for 6 years). Excellent service Ireland Wood. Thank you.
